Chi Combat System Martial Arts School - Terms and Conditions

Applicable Branch:
These Terms and Conditions apply specifically to the Chi Combat System Croydon branch, operating as Combat 8 Limited. By registering for our programs, students and/or their legal guardians agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions are intended to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all students enrolled in classes at Chi Combat System Croydon.

2. Membership and Fees

Membership Fee:
No membership fee is required to join Chi Combat System Croydon.

Joining Fee:
Some subscription plans require a one-time joining fee, which must be paid at the time of registration. This fee is non-refundable and covers administrative costs, initial assessments, and onboarding materials.

Class Fees:
Class fees must be paid on time. Payments can be made online via an automated system or in cash. Cash payments must be received promptly; late cash payments may result in membership termination.

Subscription Plans & Monthly Fees:

• All subscription plans are billed on a monthly basis and are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes, cancellations, or unused portions of the subscription period.

• Monthly fees must be paid on time. Insufficient funds will trigger a 5-day grace period, after which membership will be automatically canceled if payment is not completed.

Subscription Termination:

• Customers must provide a minimum of four (4) weeks' written notice before canceling their subscription. Failure to do so will result in the next month's fee being charged as usual.

• Notice of termination must be sent via email or written communication to the School administration.

3. Grading Fees

Eligibility and Readiness:
Instructors have sole discretion to determine if a student is ready to participate in grading.

Payment Deadline:
Grading fees must be paid before the grading date. Late grading payments may incur additional fees.

Non-Refundable:
Grading fees are non-refundable.

4. Payment Policies

Refund Policy:

• All class fees, subscription fees, joining fees, and grading fees are non-refundable.

• There are no refunds for missed or unattended classes, regardless of the reason.

Item Refunds:
Refunds on purchased items or products are available if the item is returned within 14 days in original, good condition.

5. Class Attendance and Conduct

Punctuality:
Students are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be permitted to join, depending on the class's progress.

Absences:
Students are encouraged to notify instructors in advance if they will be absent.

Respectful Behavior:
Students must behave respectfully towards instructors and peers. Inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the School.

6. Health and Safety

Medical Conditions:
Students must disclose any medical conditions that may impact their ability to participate safely.

Injury Liability:
Chi Combat System Croydon is not liable for injuries sustained during practice, except in cases of gross negligence by the School or its instructors. Personal insurance is recommended for additional coverage.

7. Intellectual Property

Class Materials:
All materials provided by the School are for personal use only and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Data Collection:
Personal data will be collected and used in accordance with UK GDPR regulations solely for School administration and communication.

Opt-Out:
Students may opt out of certain communications by notifying the School in writing.

9. Modifications to Terms

The School reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions periodically. Changes will be communicated and will take effect upon notification.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by UK law. Any disputes shall be resolved within the appropriate UK jurisdiction.
